Use Pixelpop's Display Frequency settings to choose when your popup is displayed. These settings can be found in the Options tab of your popup editor.
By default, your popup will show on every page view and stop after a visitor has closed or interacted with the popup. Use the settings outlined below to adjust when your popup is displayed.
Display Schedule
Use the Display Schedule section to decide how often your popup gets displayed to your customers. Choose to display the popup on every page view, display once every number of days/weeks/months, or display once every number of visits.
Stopping conditions
After setting the display schedule for your popup, use the Stopping conditions to set when the popup will stop being displayed. These settings will contribute to the customer experience on your storefront by controlling persistent popups.
The following settings are selected by default:
- Stop displaying to a visitor after they close the popup
- Stop displaying to a visitor after they submit an email or click a button
With these settings selected, any popup you create will close after a visitor closes or interacts with it.
Use the Stop displaying to visitor after X time to set how many times a popup is shown to a visitor. If you select this setting and set the number to 1, a visitor won't see the popup again until they clear their cache or view your storefront from a different device or browser.
Use this setting in conjunction with the Display once every 1 visit option in the Display schedule section to stop showing a popup whether customers interact with the popup or not.
Click Save & close to save your display frequency settings.
