How come I’m not seeing notifications show up anymore?
Clicking the ‘X’ on a notification will dismiss them permanently. To see your notifications again, simply clear your Local Storage or try going into an incognito/private browsing mode.
How do I enable a first and last name in the notification?
We recently made some changes to the app in order to comply with the GDPR regulations. Collecting customer order data and allowing the app to use the first and last name to display on the storefront was not compliant with GDPR regulations, so we made an adjustment to the app in favour of using the word "Someone" as a replacement.
This change was made to the app as it affects all merchants located in the EU, but also any store that could potentially accept an order from someone who lives in the EU. It was a decision made with the best interest of our merchants in mind.
Why aren't my notifications showing my updated product information?
The most common reason for images to appear broken is if there have been changes to the product details in the Shopify admin - this could be changing the title, images, price, etc. Essentially what happens is the app is trying to pull in old, non-existent order information. The best way to fix this up is to resync your products and orders. You can do this by going into your Products and Orders section of the app and clicking the 'Sync recently sold products' button.
How do I hide certain products or collections from showing in notifications?
You can do this by going into the Hide Products section of your Setup page. From there, you can either specify by the product ID or by product tags.
How do I set up my UTM source tag to track my Google Analytics?
You can put your Google Analytics information into the UTM source section - this way you’ll be able to track which notification is the most successful.
