After adding Wholesale Hub to your store, additional code needs to be added to your theme in order for wholesale discounts to show on your storefront. You can do this using the Theme Setup feature. Wholesale Hub makes a copy of your chosen theme and installs the app on that copy, leaving the original theme untouched.
Make sure not to delete your original theme after Wholesale Hub has been installed on the new copied theme. This will help our support team if you ever need assistance uninstalling Wholesale Hub and can save you a lot of time. After Wholesale Hub is installed, we recommend re-titling the original theme copy and saving it just in case.
First-time setup
-
On Wholesale Hub’s Welcome page, click Set up theme to show discounts.
- Prepare your theme by making sure you don't have any other apps installed that modify pricing. Also, if you have an AJAX/popup cart enabled, use your theme editor to switch to page cart style. Click I'm Ready once you've prepared your theme.
- Choose the theme you want to install Wholesale Hub on from the dropdown menu, and click Run setup to initiate the install. The Theme Setup tool will automatically create an unpublished duplicate of that theme and install the app on that copy. Your live theme will not be affected.
Our support team will get in touch when your install is complete and your theme is ready to test.
It’s important not to run the Theme Setup tool on the same theme multiple times as this can cause errors in your theme. If you have any concerns that the install didn’t work, send our support team an email so we can check for you.
Reinstall Wholesale Hub
If you’ve updated your theme or installed a new theme in your store, you’ll need to use the Theme Setup tool again for Wholesale Hub to work on your new theme.
In your dashboard, go to Menu > Theme Setup. From there, follow the same steps above to install Wholesale Hub on your new theme.
