Shopify Flow allows you to automate tasks and processes within your store and across your apps. In this article, learn how to integrate Shopify Flow with Alliance Pro to allow you to set up automated workflows and efficiently manage tasks and processes.
To get started, install the Shopify Flow app from the Shopify App Store and access it in your Shopify admin. Shopify Flow monitors your store for events and allows you to create automated workflows by building sequences of actions in response to these events using components such as triggers, conditions, and actions.

Flow components
- A trigger is an event that starts a workflow. It can be something that happens in your store or in an app. A good example of a trigger could be a member placing an order in your Shopify Plus store.
- A condition specifies the criteria that must be met for an action to occur. For example, in a workflow, the process will be triggered by an event, but the action will only take place if the member has placed an order with a value exceeding $300.
- An action is the actual action or change that is to be made if the conditions are met. For example, if a customer places an order with a value of more than $300, you can have a workflow that adds a tag to that customer’s account.
Some example use cases with Alliance Pro
- Tag customers as "Alliance Pro" members when their application is approved.
- Send an email notification when a member reaches a specific discount amount total or is close to their limit.
- Add tags to orders created by members.
- Send internal emails when members place orders, based on tags from other workflows.
